YouTube TV is going all in on making its service less expensive for some users and offering more flexible watch options for those who want it. This is an effort to make television options simpler and more cost-effective. It’s not all rolling out at once. Over the next few weeks, subscribers will see more than 10 new options across Sports, News, Entertainment, and Family content, all priced below the main YouTube TV subscription plan.
YouTube TV lets you tailor your experience to your needs through several content bundles. Some examples include the Sports Plan, which is $64.99 or $54.99 for new users, and includes all ESPN networks, FS1, and NBC Sports. The new ESPN Unlimited will be included as well. If you’re a sports and news fan, there’s the Sports + News Plan, priced at $71.99 for subscribers and $56.99 for new users. Grab everything in the Sports Plan plus CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, CNBC, and Bloomberg.
The Entertainment Plan is $54.99 per month or $44.99 for new users. A budget-friendly option for movie and TV lovers, priced $28.00 less than the main plan. Featuring FX, Hallmark, Comedy Central, Bravo, Food Network, and HGTV. If you want a larger bundle, the News + Entertainment + Family Plan is for you at $69.99 per month. The $59.99 bundle for new users offers a more balanced mix of news, entertainment, and family favorites, including Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, PBS Kids, and National Geographic.
The main YouTube TV plan is still $82.99 for the full experience, and all plans include Unlimited DVR, up to six household members, Multiview, and the ability to add NFL Sunday Ticker, 4K Plus, and HBO Max as add-ons. These new plans allow users to only pay for the categories they watch while keeping the core feature set intact.
